Basically, if you cancel a gift offer, you will lose the item. But of course we could try to help you to get back the keys/game from the seller.
I didnt cancel the offer. I accepted the offer but I cant see the gift screen or something, Steam shows me the message I told your before everytime I click on the gift link and the message can be there loading forever.
So whats the current status? You have a gift offer but could not accept it because there is some message pop up blocking it?
I only have the email with the gift offer. I click on "Yes, I have Steam". Chrome shows me a Steam webpage telling me "Activating your gift.... Click here to do it through the browser", I click on it and shows me another webpage with the same button before "Yes, I have Steam". When I do that, Steam pops up with that message "Scanning for steam license updates...". I cant use the client while this window is there.
Internet image, but its the same I'm watching:
I sent a ticket to steam and they told me this:
"Hello Jose,
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
Please ask your friend to log in to their Steam account and navigate to the "Games" menu and select "Manage Gifts & Guest Passes".
From their Steam Inventory he/she should see the gift. Have your friend select it and click on "Re-send gift". Make sure he/she tries either sending it to a different e-mail address if your first one did not work or directly through Steam.
Once your friend re-sends the gift you should see a notification at the top of your Steam client and via e-mail that you have received a new gift.
Please read the following FAQ for more information on Steam Gifts:

Maybe resending the gift offer...
EDIT: I never saw the notification in the Steam client
