It should.
But it can work either way, if the bot can't send you a friend request, then you can send it and I will accept from here.

If there is nothing on your Steam at all, send the bot a friend request.

I click on add friend on the bot. But the bot says error adding friend please try again. Can u add from ur end?

Yup the bots my friend now. I just sent a gift to the bot i can see it in its inventory but it doesnt appear on the site for me to make a trade. :(
