I donated a key to test if I will actually get the promised extra 300 slots. I am willing to donate a few more if it increases the (totally artificial) steam gift limit.

Please fix this or did I misunderstand it.

Sorry if we have not represented it properly, 2000 is the absolute maximum as the total limit of a shop inventory. I believe the bot won't work with more than 3000 Steam gifts as the Steam API will not return correct information. Maybe we will raise the Steam gift limit to 3000 after we have done enough testing. However please do not expect the inventory limit will be over 3000 any time in the future when you consider making extra donation. Thank you.
