Hello, I created batch trade it was working just fine, 1 tf2 key for 1 random csgo key or 1 dota2 or 3 tod, but today maybe someone used exploit or something like that ... he traded 3 of my tf2 keys for his 1 cs:go key. please fix it and get me my missing keys back. thanks

You can see it here: http://dispenser.tf/bot/283/inventoryhistory

I think you meant to select pool but selected batch instead...I guess you had included 3 keys into 1 batch?

Nope joto :( I selected 1 tf2 key from the begining I traded lot of keys with this trade, and when I want to update it I just click on 'All' but I never edited value of tf2 keys :/ it was always 1 tf2 key in batch

If only you have kept the trade :( The log said there was only 1 batch so I thought the trade result itself was 'correct' (3 keys was in 1 batch).

Now, we do not know the content of the batch was altered in any way either by your edit or other unauthorized edit. But since now we do not have the trade here it's impossible to know already. Unless the 'hack' could be reproduced, we do not know if there is an exploit of it was just a careless mistake.

I batch over thousands of keys together for months and not even once there was a mistake in trade, though. I always edit those trades too.

So I understand that the only way is to contact the guy and tell him to give me 2 keys back ? :(

It is most likely careless mistake, nothing else. If there was an exploit, all shops with batch trades would be cleared overnight. Dispenser trade editor can be quite unstable sometimes, i strongly recommend rechecking trades after editing. Sometimes javascript editor glitches and does weird things with prices and can be unnoticed. For me tho those glitches never affected items-on-sale segment, only wishlists.

I think that I'm lucky that I only lost 2 keys, and not more of them XD, I'll try to contact the user and tell him maybe I was just blind and I didn't see it, who knows

I guess the trade you're talking about is with halo09?

Look at this report from Odin - https://dispenser.tf/forum/view/2922/?page=102

He said "I have been victim of a very serious and critical bug", but he didn't say what happened

But in Odin's shop history, there is a strange trade on Jan 25, trading 1 key for many keys. I guess this is the trade that Odin was complaining about. The other person's name is "halo-infinity" - https://dispenser.tf/bot/680/inventoryhistory

halo-infinity is a friend of halo09. Actually, according to some other information, halo-infinity is almost certainly an alt account of halo09

It's a strange coincidence, isn't it?

Well, now I guess that I was right ... and yes I added halo-infinity because halo09 didn't connect last 9 days (maybe it's his second account but he's using it in Browser, he didn't accept me in both accounts tho, Joto I think the batch trade is having some serious bug now ...

EDIT: OMG GUYS CHECK THIS: http://dispenser.tf/bot/680/inventoryhistory that halo-infinity (same person "halo09") took 100 csgo keys from Odin's bot vs only 1 csgo key, this bug is just insane check it joto fast please, or it'll be some serious bug ...

Nice to know that other person had the same problem as me. I was pretty sure that my trade was created as Pool (i needed to swap 100 csgo case keys). But these halo-infinity guy, got all my keys because trade was like single type. There is no way to prove or see what was the type that i choosed when the trade was created. What i lost, was a lot. It is very important to see if more people had the same problem as me and with the same guy, because if he is using some scrypt to change trade types or other things he is putting all dispenser security in risk.

The trade type/content for the trades were wrong by the time the trade was made. Now, you can say it is a coincidence that the same person keep taking advantage from wrongly created trades. But it is not really new to me as there was a group of Japanese people doing this before. They may have some kind of scripts created for this purpose.

If he has an exploit to change the content of trades. There is no limit on what he could take. My shop should be his first priority when it comes to keys.

I made the same trade as OP here: https://dispenser.tf/trade/156645/ Let's see how it goes. You guys can test what you can think of to reproduce the 'bug', too.

I think I found your trade in Google cache. The cache is from Jan 27. According to the cache, the original trade URL was http://dispenser.tf/trade/155362/

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:Zk4DL5AV3mUJ:dispenser.tf/DeagLeStd+&cd=6&hl=en&ct=clnk

Copied in case google cache is deleted: https://archive.today/1pQks

Look at the first trade. Hover the mouse over to see what the items are. It is the same as you described, including 3xTOD tickets. It looks like a batch trade, because of the number '42'. Also the source shows it: a id="trade_entry_155362" class="trade_entry" attr-trade-type="Batch"

Did you close the trade after Jan 27 and open a new trade and maybe used the wrong trade type? If you didn't, then it looks like some kind of exploit was used on the batch trade.

edit: Sorry, I should mention it's also possible that the batch size was mistakenly edited by OP, like Joto says

It was not about the trade type. It was about the content of the batch (whether 3 keys or 1 key was used as one batch). I can see that at the very beginning it was 1 key as 1 batch. But OP had edited the trade and we do not know if the content has been changed. The log here said there was only one batch purchased at the last transaction.

After I traded all the 42 tf2 keys, I got 3 tf keys from a game trading, so I edited the trade that's all what I did

It could be like Joto says, that you accidentally put all 3 keys into the batch instead of just 1 key. I made that mistake before, but I usually noticed. I just think 'I see 3 keys... so I must add 3 keys!' The interface is very dangerous lol...

In your shop trade history, I can see that the trade was OK on Jan 28, because it did a 1:1 key trade correctly. So if you changed something by accident, it must be after that. Do you remember when you edited the trade?

28 Jan You traded with Dispenser 432 (VIP). 4:43pm

Could be that 'halo' is running a script to scan for trade mistakes on dispenser.tf, or maybe he even got a link from trade.tf good deals? (trade.tf is just an automatic trade search engine, it's not doing anything bad)

edit: but... how the hell did Odin put 100 keys into a batch? He clicked on every key in his bot inventory? it doesn't sound possible... :/

That's the thing, 2 keys is okey, but he lost 100 keys, it's seriously a big lose for him :/ that's why I thought that halo is exploiting it, but like joto said let's wait for the trade and see if he can exploit it

That trade was single.

Yeah, Joto, you're right it is a different trade type in the history.

User can't normally see this, but If we use the old history interface, based on address, we can see that the trades are different. Odin's trade type is 'Single' and Headshoter's is 'Batch'. So maybe this explains it... idk

edit: BTW, FWIW, I banned halo and his alts (76561198116297003, 76561198120258530, 76561198156470600) from my small shop and recommend to other people to also ban them. IDK if this is an exploit or just a mistake, but I really don't want to trade with guys who will take advantage of someone like this

If someone is just grabbing a good price and getting 100% profit because I was too slow to update my trade, it's OK, I don't mind playing that game. But damn... what kind of heartless POS takes 100 keys for 1 key? Halo looks like a total scumbag...

He is from China. As someone who understands this twisted culture very well, I am not surprised. Most of them could spend hours trying to steal one scrap given the chance.

Anyway, I will leave him unbanned for now to test out the problem.
