Hello.
Probably this thread looks weird, but I want to know this case is common to everyone.
Also if it is so, I want to suggest one thing to the site.

As some of you already know, there are 2 separated IDs for CS:GO Breakout keys and Steam Gems. Those look same, but you can choose both or only one of them for your trade wishlists.
So, I want to ask you 2 questions.

1. If you have CS:GO Breakout key or/and Steam Gems, can you trade at these pages which set for those IDs?
*Please do NOT trade things actually, only try taking offers.
CS:GO Breakout key (801311)
http://dispenser.tf/trade/158784/
CS:GO Breakout key (801309) - (Somehow I couldn't put the 2 IDs on same trade)
http://dispenser.tf/trade/158786/
Steam Gems (667924416 and 176056164)
http://dispenser.tf/trade/158785/

2. If some of them were unable to trade, did you ever seen Breakout keys or Steam Gems which have different IDs than yours?

Based on answers from those questions, I want to confirm my assumption about them. Each items have useless IDs as wishlist.
And if so, I heard the wishlist IDs are not editable things since these were taken from Steam API automatically, so want to suggest adding a notify about those useless IDs at somewhere.

Thank you for your help.

You're on to something here.

Gems #667924416 worked - I received the trade offer.
Gems #176056164 did not work - I got the "backpack cannot satisfy wishlist" error.

The Breakout Key trades both worked, but you set them both as the same ID (#801309). Either that or Dispenser automatically changes that already.

Looks like those IDs are merged now.
I don't know this is just a coincidence, but the problem mentioned on the topic is solved. I'll close this thread.

Thank you again for your help.

Thanks. Looks like Dispenser automatically merged both IDs to one(801309) just today.
Didn't expected fix comes so fast since that ID problem were left for months.

This problem has caught our attention for a long time, just that there is in fact no perfect solution and until you have brought this up again we have not been bothering to 'fix' it.

FYI, items that exist in different 'IDs' are not interchangeable under our system which matches items based on their defindex/classid. These different versions are probably functionally the same anyway and normal Steam users should have never known that their Gems are schematically different to other people's Gems. However, this has been a problem for our system as we have to match exact IDs for everything. The solution we have tried today is to match these known duplicates together, which is a non-automatic process. We may see different versions of these items again if Valve decides to create more new IDs for old items.

Thank you for the information. Now I understood the situation inside Dispenser.tf.
I sincerely apologize if this thread confused your priority to other things about this site.

To explain the reason I made this thread, I knew both that duplicated Breakout key IDs are existed from ago and you also knew it already, from other thread. But didn't know you set it low priority or got technically difficulty, or trying to fix it now. Also didn't know you already noticed or not, one of them are relatively useless because that ID is no longer given to new items, and this time it happened to Steam Gems, have much higher demand than other duplicated.
So I just thought we could examine it by ourselves at least which ID is useless that we should avoid for our trades. I can understand for wishlist you have to keep it for 1% possibilities of old items and removing it is far away from perfect solution, but on actual trades we choose the one which is used commonly among 99% people. So just tried to do it by our own responsibilities than forcing admin to make a tough choice.

Thank you for your reply and sorry again if it bothered you from doing other things.
One thing I didn't expected was there can be so fast response from you. I was thinking this thread is at least useful as a discussing thread about which ID is best to choose, until we find a solution.
