Hi, I placed a buy order for 12 ref last week, a few days ago one ref was bought successfully but i didn't withdraw it, yesterday 10 more were bought and I decided to get those 11 refs to my Steam account but only 10 refs showed up in my shop inventory and were withdrawn successfully. Where is my remaining ref ?
Replies

The first ref was not bought successfully. Your BTC was not deducted for that ref.

I'm confused, it says in the recent transaction list that that ref was sold to me. Can you pls re-check ? I had enough money for 12 ref with the my buy price. Now i only have enough for 1 more ref (10 was taken to my Steam inventory), so that means btc was deducted for 11 ref.

In your BTC ledger, we have:
Limit order transaction 10285 ($1.016 @ $278.26). (LIMIT_ORDER_SELL_RECV_10285) 2015-07-23 00:39 - 0.00365130

So let's calculate a bit.
1 ref for $1.016 @ BTC price @278.26

10 ref = $10.16
IN BTC: 10.16 / 278.26 = ~0.0365126

11 ref = $11.176
IN BTC: 11.176 / 278.26 = ~0.0401638

Also some fee is deducted which may confuse you that you have paid a little more for 10 ref.

I don't mean to be annoying and I really appreciate your reply but I think there's something wrong here.
- I have no idea what that BTC ledge means, but my buy price for 1 ref was $0.1016 not $1.016, I know this amount of money isn't worth too small for all these posts but I hate losing it for nothing.
- Last week, I placed a buy order for 12 ref at $0.1016 each, I still have a small amount of usable BTC credit left after placing that order. I can't find a history for that.
- On 21 July, someone sold me 1 ref at that price, so my buyer order became 12 ref at $0.1016 partially filled, I didn't withdraw that 1 ref. On 22 July, another person sold me 10 more refs. I decided to withdraw all these 11 refs, and I was surprised that my shop inventory only shows 10 ref. On the ref selling page i still saw my buy order: 12 ref at $0.1016 partially filled but i wanted to know exactly how much money i had left and the number looked confusing to me so i cancelled the buy order and just as I had thought, I still more than enough for 1 more ref and that made sense because when I placed the order, I had more than enough for 12 ref at $0.1016, now that 11 ref was successfully bough, I should have more than enough for 1 more ref.

You can verify all that with this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/6OsWL5j.jpg

I placed a buy order for 12 ref, the history does show that 11 ref was bough successfuly and the money I have left is more than enough for 1 more ref (exactly the same with my calculation before placing the buy order for 12 ref) so what doesn't make sense to me is that I only find 10 ref in my shop inventory. If you say the first ref wasn't bought successfully, what was the reason for that ? I'm not awared of a fee for buying those refs and even if there was a fee. i believe I had enough money to cover it, so if it was true that first ref wasn't bought successfully, then I should have enough money for buying 2 more ref at $0.1016 each but i only have $0.1498 now.

Okay I made a mistake it was meant to be $1.016 in total not 1.016 a piece. The BTC amount was ~0.00365126.

What actually happened was irreverent as the system only deducted 0.00365126 BTC from your account which was equaled to 10 ref. You made an order for 12 ref but it may due to errors some part of your order was cancelled at the end and no BTC was deducted. The system did not deducted BTC from your account for the first ref anyway.
