Altrough I plan to get the mob. auth soon, the fact that I can't withdraw my OWN ITEMS from my OWN PREMIUM BOT makes me quite mad. You should allow this - for owneres, to widhdraw their own items, and perhaps allow owners to set if they wish to trade with no-escrow users with the 3 days waiting period.
What if I didn't get smartphone? I couldn't withdraw my own items from my bot?

Just a suggestion.

Thats what i though, too.
I dont have a smartphone and i wouldn't be able to get anything from my bot if i wouldn't use Geels desktop app.
Luckily that works for me so far.

As D3l3rium said, I highly recommend https://github.com/Jessecar96/SteamDesktopAuthenticator if you do not have a device for mobile authenticator. It also supports multiple account for one device which I am sure is good for most traders.

Hmm, i am quite sure there was no need for steam mobile auth if you only receive items (from your bot for example). Has anything changed? At least steam doesnt require mobile auth when only receiving, dont see why dispenser should impose such rule.

i can confirm sent 5 keys to my old friend , i confirmed with mobile , he received 5 keys instant , my friend dont have mobile autheticator

It is not like this when we tested. Unless both sides have mobile authenticator enabled there will be escrow, no matter sending or receiving items.

EDNAT is right, if that user A (have mobile auth enabled) only send Items to B (dont have mobile enabled) wont be escrow.

Most likely human error, i tested this first day escrow launched by sending some items from my main acc (mobile protected) to one of my alts (totally unprotected) and it worked without escrow. Just retested and it still works like this. And i see others confirming this too. Steam escrow message also confirms this by stating that escrow is needed only for side that is loosing items.

"Starting Dec 9, anyone *** losing items *** in a trade will need to have a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled on their account for at least 7 days."

Are there technical problems, not allowing owner to do that? Or is it just technical job? Because I think shop owner shouldn't be forced to use any potentially dangerous and exploitable software when he doesn't have a mobile phone.

And no - if there are items only on one side, then only one side escrow's matters.

We will make a change tomorrow that if trade confirmation is not needed from the user's side, there will be no checks of mobile authenticator, which means you do not need mobile authenticator for withdrawing items.

That would be great Joto !
