Or at least that appears to be happening to me. As you can see by my signature below, the system thinks I currently have nothing in my shop. The "My Shop" button at the top of the page still takes me to my old, closed shop as well.
As another note, I originally closed that shop because there were two "trades" that I could not remove that had no content in them. They appeared on their own seemingly overnight and prevented me from re-arranging my existing three trades. I don't have a screenshot, sorry.
