Sam, in order to withdraw Key Credit, you need to have more than 1.0000 key in your withdrawable balance, obviously—it's not possible to send a trade offer with just a fraction of a key.
So, to solve this issue that then arises, of residual credit, you can do one of those things:
- Keep the residual balance and continue trading until it accrues to more than 1 key, and then withdraw. Rinse and repeat. (This is good if you're trading on the site all the time and don't plan to stop using it.)
- Use your residual Key Credit to buy cheap items in the Dispenser Market, and then withdraw *those* items instead. Good candidates are items that sell for less than 1 key: Refined Metal, Sacks of Gems, Gems, TF2 weapons, CSGO skins, and others (do a search!). Gems are pretty good because they are very cheap, so you can pretty much spend all your residual balance and then withdraw the gems, which can be sold on the Steam Market in bundles of 1,000 gems (Sack of Gems) or used to trade with other people, or to create Booster Packs of Steam Trading Cards. (This is good if you deposited your credit just to do an one-off purchase and won't carry on trading anymore.)
