I had three trades up for awhile, and when I checked the site just now two had been closed. The items were not lost, but I am still wondering if there is a limit to how long a trade can be up.

There is a limit of time a trade could be up without any trading activity (I forgot if it's 7 days). In the future, donators could bypass this limit.
