How do you retrieve items from your shop? I have a paint there, but want it back. How do I do this?!?!

Firstly, you have to make sure that the paint in question isn't part of a trade. If it is, close the trade in question (This is done by going to your shop, scrolling down to your trades and clicking the X next to the trade you want to close). After that, all you need to do is click the paint in your Inventory, and click Exchange Items. Then the friendly and caring bots will return your paint to you!

I don't know what the problem is, but it doesn't look like the same problem for both of you

Sometimes these sort of problems are caused by temporary glitches with Steam (like when one of the regional servers isn't happy), and they go away after 30 minutes or so.
