Any trading card = any Backround? - Page 1

I got screwed with the same thing... lost about 250 cards, but now i have 500+ backgrounds

No, we are screwed by Valave once again. This problem did not exist. They used to name every background with (Profile Background) but now they can be just called anything.

Technically, there is no way to know if an item is a background or a trading card (except using the name). So there is no solution to this now. We will just
remove all the trades buying 'Any Trading Cards' to prevent further loss.

So thanks Valve for suddenly renaming all the backgrounds. One more feature is down.

I got hit by the same thing sadly. Surprisingly when I looked at the account, I saw that you did this!

You intentionally abused the bug to 'steal' cards out of my and other people's shop. I'm not quite sure if I want to report this to Steamrep, but honestly I think you deserve it. There is no justification to do this to others when it happened to you.

Ummm... was added by bacon assuming something to happen. All I got was a 'hi' though in the days he was on my friendlist.
