Maybe I'm wrong, but I guess that bot dont turn Your hat into refs, it's not option ,,quick sell"... I guess that it accept only refs and other metal and let to use them as currency on this site. So I suggest You to sell Your items manually and then put refined metal to ,,credit"...

3. Using Credit

You could pay for an item with credit in place of metal if the owner of a trade allows it. You could access the credit interface from the option menu, to the right of 'Personalization'. The credit interface let you deposit metal for credit which subsequently could be used to purchase items on Dispenser.tf.

Note: You could withdraw metal with credit from the site anytime. However, only Refined Metal is available for withdrawal: If you have '1.11' credit, you could only withdraw 1.00.

Joto	May 16, 2014, 12:07 p.m. Maybe you misunderstood the usage of the site. You only get metal/credit if there is buyer for your items. We do not 'buy' your items and give you credit like what TF2WH does.
