Please post all suggestions related to dispenser.tf here.

1. http://dispenser.tf/search/ - Add text box to filter by item name.
2. Button - "Create price list for my store" - to simplify copying/pasting our items for places like reddit.com/r/tf2trade
3. Make it more obvious how long the line is for a queue. For example, when I am waiting to deposit metal or purchase from a bot that already has a customer, it says "You are in queue, please wait" or something like that on the bottom right of the screen. However, that disappears quickly, and then I have no idea how long the queue really is. It could be 5 minutes, 30 seconds, I don't know..

Please reorganize the Wishlists when creating a trade and searching. Remove the competitive medals and never acquirable items, readd the 'currency' area withc should include: Any Craftable Hat, Refined, Reclaimed, Scrap, Any Craftable Weapon, key, Bill's and buds. It is very hard to find things. A search box would also be very much appreciated.

I really like this site, and want it to succeed. I paid for VIP, but even I realize this is not going to support the site long-term. It probably pays for a year of power bills, some dev time, and an account upgrade ($5) for one bot.. so as much as I hate to do it - can I suggest you charge a transaction fee to sustain the site?

If you charged a flat 5% transaction fee for everyone, then you could sell the surplus and hopefully generate enough revenue to continue the site. Otherwise, what happens when you sell a lot of VIP? You will have to maintain a large number of bots and pay the power bills / machine costs associated with it, indefinitely. It's not a long-term sustainable model. And I would rather you collect a little fee so your costs are paid.

Yes please. And to add to that - the "Buy" and "Sell" choices are not super clear, simply because they're from the perspective of the SHOP, not the player. If you put some text above it that said something like "Find a shop that is ..." and then follow it up with the "Buying" or "Selling" button, that would clarify. But please, add a text search box.

To be honest, I would rather just have this as an option:

1. A search box. Type in the name of the item or items you want..
2. Choose the game from a dropdown or radio button (TF2, DOTA2, whatever)
3. Select "Buy" or "Sell" in a dropdown or radio option..
4. Click "Search"

And just have the search box respect quotes around words (so that "Pip Boy" is considered one item for example). And respect AND, OR, NOT keywords. An example search:

"Teddy Roosebelt" OR "Frontier Justice"

And on that note - how about when I search for items in a specific game, it becomes the default for my next search? For example if I choose Team Fortress when searching or selling, it would be useful for the site to remember that for my next search or sale.

Finally, when I want to BUY something, please hide results for out of stock items by default. As an example, when I want to search for shops that are SELLING keys (or refined, or tickets...), I would prefer that all shops that have 0 stock/inventory are not in the results. I want to know who has keys NOW, and I don't care who is selling them "later".

1. Sometimes the credit bot is full but I want to deposit metal. It'd be nice to be able to "flag" refined as "ready for deposit" and then when there is free space in your banking bots, they check the list, remove metal from the user(s), and credit the account. That way, your users don't have to constantly check the bank vault bots to see if they're available, and you have an instant supply of metal when you need/want it.

2. Or, similar to that, a "user preference" that says: "I want to maintain XX credit if possible at all times." With XX being the number the user wants to maintain as credit. This would be nice because right now, I have to do this:

a. sell item
b. withdraw metal from sales bot to me.
c. deposit metal from me to bank bot.
d. credit applied

But in my pawn shop, I buy items from customers using credit as well. So whenever my balance is 0, I can lose sales. It would be nice if we could auto-deposit up to XX metal if we have it in our inventory and you have the space/need it. It would speed up the process for users, and ensure they always have credit (whenever possible) for their sales to customers.

3. Or, similar to that, the ability to select metal in our bot and choose "Deposit to Bank Vault for Credit" and have your bots do the transfer directly.

The ability to create discount rules for situations. Like:

- Spend XX or more ( metal | keys | buds ) at my shop, get a 10% discount.
- Buy at least 10 strange, get 1 <item> free.

We would definitely improve the search page and credit management, thanks for the suggestions. We are trying to pull out 'or' wishlist before that.

Discount is an interesting idea. Hope we could implement this in the near future.

We fully understand the importance of self-sustaining so that this site could keep running and it will provide us the incentive of further development. But we still consider the current development 'incomplete'. That's why we won't be taking any 'fee' for now and hope to attract more people to test when it's free.

But taking transaction fee is no easy job here even if we want to - the current system makes us no way to take 'fee' for item to item trades. Of course it is always possible to take fee from credit transaction (or even from deposit/withdraw), but it is not fair to penalize the use of credit and it is easy to workaround the system by trading only items and not using any credit, which we cannot enforce and should not enforce.

Other bot trading sites break everything down to credit so that they could manage items and take fees much more easily, but we do not want that. It is not the most convenient system for trading.

However, I have thought about something that could be done to improve the system for self-sustaining, which we may impose in the future:

1. We no longer let people trade metal directly. They must convert metal to credit and we will take some fee for transaction that involves metal.
Drawback: Unable to take fee from item to item trade; people ask for keys / craft hats instead of metal.

2. We design useful features that make use of credit and we take fee for using that. (Such as making pawn shop a common feature but non-VIP users have to pay some transaction fee).

Suggestion: filter by class for selling items and filter by class on store page

Adding the ability to choose a specific effect of an unusual in your wishlist would be helpful. It makes trading people in different timezone's far easier. Currently you can not specify this.

Hi, not sure if bug or suggestion but, when creating/editing trade the ENTIRE inventory shows up including the items used in other trades we can't add, can you make it back to where we can select only the selectable items into our trades.

It's because the "usable only" feature is currently broken.

Hey Joto, this is regarding store backgrounds etc.
I have noticed recently that ads move stores to the left a bit, if you block ads the trade moves to the right a bit, here are some pictures to give you a clear understanding.

Is it possible to have both of these to be the same because it looks weird to other people.
Thank you!

They can't really be the same since the ad has taken some width of the screen.
I guess It won't look too weird as people could only see one of the version..they cannot really compare the difference. :P
