However I'd like to know two things:
- One should only login when buying from a shop, that didn't donated so far, so if I donate some keys my customers don't have to login here trough steam?
Everyone has to login to buy anything from anyone. We have an experimental feature of 'Anonymous Purchase' which is optional for shop owners. (It does not require users to login our webpage to purchase, but they still have to be logged in through Steam in order to trade with the bot). We may make this feature permanent if we have the time to complete it.
There is also offline purchase which does not even require Steam, by making use of credit or shop items to 'carry out trades in the background'.
- I'm interested if you could implement that feature wherewith one could search IN a trade for items by name, or if the seller could make more separate shops.
It would be kinda annoying searching for the right item when one has 50+ stuff for sale.
The former will be very difficult to implement as the way things are designed.
The latter could be workaround by using the text search so that only trades containing a certain items will be shown. If you are talking about window-shopping, maybe we could add an option for shop owners to categorize their trades.
Thank you! Keep up the good work : )
Thank you too!
First of all: thanks for your answer
I might was misunderstandable, as this shop-trade thingy is new for me.
So, I don't know what is window-shopping you mentioned, but I try to explain what I meant.
I want to handle with games on tf2op, and so I'll have like 4-5-6 trades with 8 games offered per trade.
The most logical solution would be, if I could link my shop in every of these trades, and there would be a filter in my shop on dispenser.tf; the customer only should type the name of the game and the dispenser.tf site would narrow the list of the items offered in my shops to those which names contain the typed word.
I'm might wrong, but i think it's not something hard to do, as there's already a low-cost (and not so nice) solution for this problem: opening my shop, switching to mobile view, ctrl+f, typing the name of the item/game.
In case it can't be implemented, a categorizing by 8 stuff/shop (like there is a set of maximal 8 items/games on tf2op trades) would also be nice.
I hope we can figure out something, as I realised compiling an own bot, and running it 24/7 isn't as easy as it seems to be... at least for me. :)
