We currently host 10 Public TF 2 servers. Server Vanilla #1 and #2 are configured 24 players max with default setting. #3 runs at default settings with random critical and random spread turned off. Highlander servers run a 9v9 highlander mode in which all classes are restricted to 1 person each. 4 MVM servers and two of which run on expert difficulty. The multi-purpose servers run the MGE mod and are available to be reserved for matches.

All of our Team Fortress 2 servers are ranked with the Sourcemod TF2 Ranking plugin. You can access the ranking in game by typing 'rank' or 'players' in chat. Servers are also running Sourcemod anti-cheat, preventing players running various common cheating external programs to be playing in our servers.

Great work on the two 32 player servers. Just a suggestion but maybe lower or remove the re-spawn time? It'll make the game much more fast paced and is rather suitable for 32 players

It seems that server variable that turn off respawn time no longer works, plus the fact that TF just gone through an update, so mod that unlock those variables need some time to update.

I will try to test some mods that disable respawn time again, or do you have some good suggestions which it should save me a lot of time....

I personally have not hosted a TF2 server before so I'm not very knowledgeable about this.

To be added in your server configuration file, server.cfg. For true instaspawn (without 6 seconds spec cam after each death), you have to add 'sm_cvar spec_freeze_time 0/1' to sourcemod.cfg (SM must be running)

I added back 5 seconds to the respawn time because some players feel that zero is too fast, sometimes they don't even know they were killed and suddenly teleported back to respawn...

Still very good compared to 20 whole seconds + 6 second cam time. I can understand that

Map Cycle上的列表都把KOTH放在一起令我覺得有點兒…。你知道的。
另外一點意見,請問能把Spy和Sniper的數目限制嗎?畢竟每次看到>=4個Sniper/Spy在同一隊就有點兒那個。

The current map cycle had koth / pl / cp too concentrated. This may deter people who want to experience more game types in a short time. I would suggest spreading each game type evenly. Here's an example which I would like to see in server 3:

I suggest having 1 server which is premium restricted, which only those f2p players cannot join
u know it's quite annoying when you get to play with them with what they do, and you dont have fun when you rape when too much...

and for the pug servers, i see we can add !sm_votemenu..
singaporean af servers are hving this, way more convenient than rtv and nominate and is usable when there's no admin;D
choices from the menu includes kicking players, banning, changing map, running cfg, etc..
i've been pugging a lot in sg servers...this is a pretty gd option....

i would suggest having a hk version of golddust4ever, cp4ever pl4ever, ad4ever and koth4ever.

maps like cp_steel and cp_junction should be taken out for now as they are not as fun to play as other maps. junction is horribly designed. steel is too complex for the new players

We have tried the idea of playing a single game mode for specific servers, but its not well received, so we go back to mixed game mode map cycles. But we will seriously consider providing such servers if the community has such demand.

cp_junction was taken out a while ago since most players don't like it. cp_steel is the only not-as-usual game play map that is being kept in our map cycles, personally I would like to keep it in the map cycles to maintain the gameplay variety of our servers, however, if our players don't like playing it, we will take it out.

Map cycles revision will be done according to the result of polls related to map preference given to our players later.

I am happy to see that we have got an Arena dedicated server in HK now. There is a little problem in the map roster however, or maybe it's a map change problem. There was that one time the server changed the stage to cp_well after arena_badland. I hope this can be fixed soon.

Rico, I don't have access to the current FTP server for TF2. So can you upload this map into the map pool? So some of us can book a server for bball if we want to do 2v2/3v3 bball? The bball in MGE is 1v1 only.

I want to ask a few question,

1. Is this a chinese forum or english forum?
2. I have been banned since about last week, I don't know why.
maybe I just speak a few foul language cause of some cheats on your server .
