If you have lost items, please report with the following information:

1. The item(s) that is missing from your inventory.
2. The Steam Inventory History of your transaction. (example: 22 Apr You traded with Dispenser.tf Logistic. 7:27pm – Rust.)

I will reassign the items directly to your inventory upon confirmation (if it's a database syncing problem), or compensate you in metal/credit.

*IMPORTANT*: To save us some time, please only consider your items 'lost' if they have not been registered after an hour of trade. It is perfectly normal for your items to be recognized late as the Steam API does not always give the immediate response.

Also, please edit your post if your lost items has already restored.

NOTE 1: I may not reply to every posts here. You can check back and see if the items are restored.
NOTE 2: Please only report missing tradable items here. For untradable gifts, please use the other forum thread.

Hi, I believe a lot of the lost items on the lost item bot are mine, though I can't find the trade in my trade history. There was a time a few weeks back where the website wasn't working very well. I posted about it in the forums at the time too, but again, I think even the forums weren't working very well at the time. I believe my lost items would include the pink honcho's headgear, some strange guillotines and a large # of the other items. If there's any way you can look into this for me, I would appreciate it, because I can't seem to find any trace of it in my history, and had forgotten about it completely for a couple of weeks.

I checked through the history of your bot from July and could not find the history of the honcho and the strange weapons moving in and out. The last time the bot had lost items was on Sep 27 which involved a number of strange boston basher and other strange items but I had already sent back those the next day. Maybe I did not dig deep enough but I am sorry I could not help you on this one. It would be helpful to know when was the last time the bot had those items if you could find it out from the trade history on your side.


Thanks for your reply and for looking into it. Would it help if I posted all the exchanges the weren't completed and show no items? there's not that many (mostly about 10 in november, I think it might have happened then) - I do recall the website was acting strangely that day, so I wonder if that's partly why it's hard to find a record for it. I'm actually going to look at the item history for some of those items in the Lost Bots inventory and see if they do mention my ID before the bot had it.

Edit: I looked at some of the item histories and I see many that I think might have been mine have Dispenser 52 in common in their trade history. Not sure if that would be my bot or not, since I've renamed it. Unfortunately I don't see any that mention my own ID.

The bot you are using right now was Dispenser 32 (VIP) and I have checked through the history of this bot already and found no record of those items. (Our internal tracking record has also lost the history from where the items are from). I am suggesting to check your inventory history, which is not available to me, for every transaction you made with the bot that would help me find out the last time your bot had these items. The history on our site is not useful as they rely on the Steam API to be generated and it the API was available that time this would not have had happened.

Yeah I looked through my history and can't find anything that shows those items, though there are a number of exchanges in the last month or two that were not completed, but show no record of items whatsover. Other then that, I'm out of ideas. I do maintain though, that the items got lost during a time when the site was having serious difficulties for a good 48 hours at least.

Disregard this. Simply traded some more stuff to it and it appears the bot sent the old information all in one and it recognized my previous items

I think if you look through the history around 2-3 months ago, you should find some of the items you have traded to the bot. Especially when you are pretty sure you owned the Pink Honcho, you could quickly browse through the pages and search the keyword and you should find it.

2. I set up a trade to buy trading cards @ 1 scrap each, someone sells me a trading card, I get the card, and all my scrap disappears. I added the person in question, and they only received 1 scrap, so its not like I just set it up wrong and they abused me and cleaned me out.

edit 2: I am about to restock my bot, so it will have 25 scrap on it, just know that I am still missing 24 scrap.

Yeah I give up, cost of doing business I suppose, I've looked carefully through my trade history, probably spent a good hour doing that, but I'm pretty sure it's not there. The site was behaving bizarrely that day. I think also a forum post I made from that time period got lost. Anyways, I'll be more careful about it in the future if a trade gets stuck in limbo.

Missing 40+ trading cards, steam crapped out during transaction. some cards were transferred.

Transaction number was 596408, i think....

transaction was around 8:15pm eastern standard time (-5gmt)

Also I just made a $14.80 donation before i transferred cards...

2. had 3 keys from a game I sold, try to get them from the dispenser, got error and now I only see 2 keys instead of 3. (dispenser 55(lv2))

Actually, you should relocate if you have just donated for more space.

It's weird that even Steam has no history of the trades. I guess the reason the items went missing was also for the same reason. We need that history to verify trades.

But anyway, before I deal with the items I would think of some ways to do a final check for you, hopefully I could discover something.
